CIRCULATION TRAINING AND WORKSHOPS

We can provide excellent circulation training for Circulation Directors, District Managers, Single Copy Manager or the Customer Service staff to help them become more successfully in their jobs. Workshops are also available for circulation sales, retention, newsroom/circulation marketing and other topics of your choice. We tailor workshop content to fit your needs and desires. Training can be arranged right at your newspaper or at any site that is convenient for your staff or for your entire newspaper group. DISTRICT MANAGER ON-LINE TRAINING

Now, DMs can receive on-line training in the basics of their job, in the comfort of their own workspace or home. Participants can proceed at their own pace (about a 4-week program), with a flexible start-up schedule. Topics include: Carrier recruitment, development and retention; independent contractor status; contracting carriers; subscription sales; subscriber retention; customer service; time management for DMs; and much more! The DM on-line training program is conducted by Robert (Bob) Bobber, an associate with Anderson, Randles & Associates. Bobber has a degree in Journalism and has more than 30 years of experience in circulation management. He also has a background in teaching and has conducted circulation training programs across the country. In addition to being a nationally-known speaker, Bobber has provided expert circulation consulting services to more than 125 newspapers during his career.
